Book Blurb
They promised me everything. But when the tides turned and my true self surfaced, their promises washed away with the receding waves.
I forced them to realize their mistake, made them see the truth, even if it meant drowning in my own heartache. Now, they’re sorry, begging for forgiveness. But I’m done with empty words and broken promises.
I would have been happy to leave and never look back, but a rip current keeps pulling me toward them, to face the hurt.
How can I trust them again after they rejected me so fiercely? They promised me everything. But when the tides turned and my true self surfaced, their promises washed away with the receding waves.

Rating & review
My review
Ocean Echoes? It Doesn’t Quite Reach Whisper Waves’ Level
This is a continuation of the story, but for me, it didn’t quite live up to the first book. The book felt long—toward the end, I had to talk myself out of skipping scenes. The sex scenes started to feel repetitive and lost their impact after a while. I could’ve done with a bit less drama.
Saylor was hands down my favorite character. BY FAR.
The ending? It was sweet. That’s it. Nothing groundbreaking, just a nice close.
Reverse Harem Dynamics
This reverse harem setup, where the guys are brothers, didn’t really work for me. It felt more like they were just sharing Sloane than being a real family unit. One of the things I love about poly stories is that feeling of a big, loving family—here, it felt more like they were roommates taking turns with her. Also, when the protagonist’s love interests are brothers, it’s not my favorite. Authors have to walk a fine line to keep things from feeling too close to incest. This one didn’t quite nail that balance for me.
Final Thoughts
Would I recommend it? Despite its flaws, yes. It wraps up the story I loved in the first book, and there’s an epilogue that, okay, won’t win any awards—but it was cute. If you don’t mind cheesy, repetitive scenes, I think you’ll enjoy the book. For me, it was a 4-star read, and I might be a bit biased because of how great the first book was.
