  Good, entertaining read. I was really craving something reverse harem with spice and a simple plot—and this delivered exactly that.

  Story & Spice

  Set in a college environment filled with frat parties, alcohol, football fame, and a girl trying to get over her ex, Necessary Roughness gives exactly what it promises. Cassie Cole nails the “friends with benefits turned feelings” trope—it starts as a “just for fun” deal for the semester kind of setup, and as a reader, you just know it’s going to become more.

  There’s plenty of voyeurism (and it was very hot) and sexual tension between Sloane and one particular character that had me blushing, sweating, panting—you name it.

  And yes, there’s a surprise element in the harem that I won’t spoil here—it definitely made the story even better (insert evil laugh).

  Their chemistry? Off the charts. Each brings something different to the dynamic.

  It’s fast-paced, sexy, and drama-light—the perfect refreshing RH when you need something light but still sizzling.
