Our colony is dying.
We’re out of time. Out of hope. Out of options—unless I risk everything on him.
The outlaw.
One not bound by rules or mercy.
With lives at stake, I offer him a deal he can’t refuse. And one I can’t go back on.
Bargaining with a demon to save my people, only time will tell if I’ve sealed their fate, or found their salvation.
And mine.
★★★★★

Rating & review
My review
The best first-kiss scene EVER.
I adore alien romances where the heroine isn’t abducted—and Outlaw was no exception. I truly enjoyed this book. It’s not a personal favorite, but still a very solid read.
World & Story
We follow Elsie in her mission to save Commodre, her dying colony. Along the way she meets the Outlaw.
Is this really a cowboy alien romance? Not quite. He wears a hat and works outside the law, but beyond that, the “cowboy” element is mostly aesthetic. Still, the setting—planet Ivuria-10—has definite western vibes.
The worldbuilding is excellent. I quickly understood how this planet works, how survival looks there, and even got Dune vibes from the environment and tone.
If you enjoy stories where characters are on a quest, facing danger and battles along the way, you’ll definitely enjoy this one.
The book is told mostly from Elsie’s POV, with a few chapters from the Outlaw’s.
The Romance
This is a medium-burn romance, full of tension that builds beautifully. That first kiss scene? I thought I was going to combust. The chemistry is off the charts.
The first intimate scene was equally fantastic—there’s a primal element to it, not in the kink sense, but in that raw, irresistible loss of control when the MMC can’t resist his desire anymore. I loved that.
Characters
The Outlaw (the hero) is your classic strong-silent type—mysterious, deadly, protective, and slightly alien (bronze scales, enhanced senses). And he’s also somewhat sweet.
“Females need food. A warm nest. Zero stress.”
Elsie (the heroine) isn’t the most brilliant or resourceful heroine—she has more than a few lucky breaks—but she’s tenacious, determined, and refuses to give up. That makes her easy to root for.
